General Practice is a distinct model of healthcare practice with a rich history of generating its own body of knowledge. In 2016, WONCA published a collection of The Classic Papers in Family Medicine: showcasing an international collection of the most important research carried out in family medicine and primary care. The GEMS Library brings that work right up-to-date.

 

The GEMs library offers you easy access to knowledge for everyday practice and ideas for professional development.

 

We focus on research that addresses the real-world challenges of daily practice. Our library includes research done in the general practice setting, by teams that include people who specialise in primary care (clinicians and/or researchers).
